He climbed out of his crib this morning.

I heard a huge THUMP and went in his room to see an empty crib and him walking around. So I lowered his crib down to the bottom spot, but that means the next step is the toddler bed! My baby is growing up too fast!

    Thats my biggest fear. The crib is already at the bottom and has been for a long time. Im just scared that all he has to do is figure out how to use those grippies on the feet of his sleepers to climb with....

     This exactly. I was going to ask our pedi when it's time to convert it to a toddler bed.

    DS climbed out of the crib at my parents house last week. I guess my mom went to go check on him and walked in just as he was falling face first to the hardwood floors. I guess she dove and broke his fall just in time. Scary!

    DS did that a fe weeks ago. I did it all the time when I was small, so my mom put another mattress at the end of the bed for me to fall on.
