XP: What is a "must have" for Manhattan Mommies? Gift ideas pls!

My SIL is pregnant and is having a baby shower in June. I don't think I'm going to be able to make it out to the shower but want to send a fabulous gift for her and my future niece/nephew.

Are there any quintissential baby things that Manhattan parents/babies MUST have?? I want to do something cool and trendy, and hopefully $100 or less.
