Manhattan Moms - daycare ?'s

Know any daycares to avoid?  I'm putting DD in Tutor Time next week.  They cost an arm and a leg (and a foot) and I'm not sure it's 100% worth it.  What have you heard about various daycares?  Star America? Buckle My Shoe? Chelsea Piers?  I tried to do research myself but I wasn't really able to get to as many as I had hoped.

I'm 5 months pregnant and just started looking at daycares. I'm scheduling an appointment with Tutor Time, I'm checking now for daycare close to work.

Thanks a mint! You're smart to do this now. I kept hanging on to this fantasy that somehow I would get to stay at home. LOL GL!
