The elusive green square block

I just picked up all of the toys that have been strewn about over the weekend. I organized the toy box and put all the pieces together with each toy. Amazingly, we had all of the pieces of everything except one green square block for the shape sorter. Where o where are you green block. This is going to drive me insane.

Maybe it ran off for a secret rendezvous with the triangle from our shape sorter .

Hahaha! Too funny! On a side note, do your LOs still play with a shape sorter? I don't have one for E yet and I was thinking of getting her one for her bday. Am I too late?

DS took his green block with us trick or treating, but we so far have a complete set.

DS still plays with his. He loves to put the shapes in and then clap for himself. They are a great way to teach shapes and colors to which DS doesn't know yet. I have a friend who has one that her little girl played with well past the age of 2.
