Nurse just called me back...

in Parenting after a Loss
Said they no longer do betas. She said my dr isn't in until this afternoon and she would ask her if she wants to run them on me - I guess since I have a history. If I have to wait until my first OB appointment I might just die. Wonder why they no longer do them?

    I just read your BFP post! Congrats!!!

    FWIW my DR office gave me a hard time about betas this time even with all the drama surrounding it.

    Is this a regular physician or your OB?  can you go to someone else who does them?

    I would assume they no longer do them b/c not all insurances cover them? but not sure at all about that since we don't have to worry about that here (Canada)

    If your OB won't do them and you really want them ask your PCP. He did mine for my first pg.

    Get a new OB!!! I heart my doc, she's in Irving though...then again I travel from Denton for her!

    My OB wont do betas. He doesn't believe in them. He will check my progesterone.
