We just moved into a new house about a month ago and prior to that, our fridge had been in use in my parent's garage. They didn't have any problems with it during the 3ish years it was there. Now, we've had it for about a month and it's not right. Most of the food is fine, except we cannot keep milk at the right temperature. It's too cold, so the milk gets all chunky and icy (tastes funny, not spoiled, but definitely weird). DH thought that maybe there was too much ice on the coils in the freezer, so we completely defrosted it last weekend. We've obviously fiddled around with the settings and tried making it less cold, but then the milk wasn't even cold at all, just room temp.
What the heck is going on? The fridge is about 10 years old so maybe it's just on it's last leg. Any ideas?
