Shoe storage

DD is to the point where she's exclusively walking so we're buying her more shoes.  At first she only had 2 pairs of shoes we mainly used and so we kept these downstairs by the front door.  Now she's up to 4 and it's starting to clutter the area where we leave them.  Where or how do you store your LO's shoes so we're not constantly tripping over them?  TIA for any ideas/suggestions.

DS has a dresser and the middle section has doors w/ shelves. I keep bins in the there and I just removed one to create space to line up the pairs of shoes. DS now has 8. I just pull a pair out that he's going to wear for the day & that's where they all stay.

I keep them in a drawer in DD's dresser. Her dresser has 4 small & 4 big drawers & I put them in one of the smaller one. She has ~8 pairs now.
