I have bids on so many things. They are all 'educational' things like multiethnic hand puppets and wooden haba food. But if I 'win' them all, it's like $50. Crap.

I was supposed to be spending less, and I have already bought 5 new cloth diapers in the past few days and a lot of wooden teethers. Hopefully, I get outbid!

I do that too! Dangerous. I bid on tons of shoes and he doesn't even really need shoes, thank goodness I was outbid on most of them haha

Here's my ebay strategy to curb spending. I watch things I'm interested in, and ebay sends reminders when the auction is about to end. I check what it's up to and see if I still really want it. If so, I bid at the last minute. That way, if I still really want the item, I'm not driving the price up even higher for myself, and I don't get stuck winning things that I bid on by impulse and don't necessarily still want.
