Symptoms - red blood and headaches 2.5 weeks later

Hi all. I had a natural m/c on Dec 17 at 10w 6d.  While the bleeding has subsided greatly, I find I am still bleeding red when I use the washroom. I'm also experiencing debilitating headaches - I've never been a 'headache' person. Two nights ago, the only thing that stopped my headache was one of the Tylenol 3's I was given after the m/c.

I will be calling the doctor tomorrow for a checkup, but I'm wondering if any other ladies out there experienced similar symptoms?

I'm sorry, I'm not that far past mine, but I have been experiencing pretty awful headaches.  I wonder if it has to do w/ all the changes in hormones?  Even my prescription ibuprofen didn't help.  I hope the physical symptoms stop for you very soon

I had a D&E two wks ago.... I'm still spotting and wake up almost everyday with a headache.   Be sure to post back after you speak with your doc!

Hey all - so, for the bleeding, I'll be getting another ultrasound at some point this week to ensure everything is gone. My doc says she's seen this before and sometimes it sorts itself out during the first AF. But this ultrasound will determine if I require a "mini" D&C.

I'm also being tested for low hemoglobin because my doc thought I looked pale. When I mentioned the headaches, she thought it might be tied in low hemoglobin (i'm also a little faint when I stand up lately - that's another symptom). All of the labs are closed today so I'll be getting that checked out tomorrow.

I had a natural MC as well... I was diagnosed with missed miscarriage on 12/13.  One week later (12/20) I started spotting and then bleeding more, had the actual miscarriage with horrible contraction cramping and bleeding for an hour and a half on 12/26 and still had red bleeding up until a few days ago.  Some days were lighter than others.  Stopped one day then started again... I was pretty much all over the place.  I've heard of red bleeding going on for longer.  Headaches YES... back throbbing and still cramping too.  From the date I was diagnosed to today it's been three weeks. -- With the headaches, I am not getting it checked out because I think mine is more hormonal because I don't have the lightheadendness... I suppose it is possible to be low on iron with the bleeding... But if you're feeling off I'd definitely check with your doc.
