We have a BOB single, an umbrella stroller and a SNG. We use basically none of them
At 12 months we find that we use our Pikkolo more than anything. I'm thinking that when/if #2 arrives, we can use the stroller for DS and a carrier for #2. I loathe the idea of a giant 2 kid stroller - seems like it would just take up more space. Am I crazy?
Re: Do you really need a double stroller?
I had the same thought as you but when we had our second son 1.) we found out that he didn't like being in a sling/wrap and 2.) our older son stopped taking a nap unless we were out for a walk or a drive. And I really needed him to nap so I could get a break So we ended up getting a jogger for long walks around the neighborhood and a sit-n-stand for doing things like the zoo, the mall, ect. This combo worked well for us. Unfortunately, to this day, I still have to drive him around in the car so that he'll take a nap Oh well.
Hopefully you won't have these issues though! GL

Obviously I don't know how feasible this is yet, but that is my plan for now. I'd rather have to buy a double stroller later than buy one now and never use it lol.

I don't use mine much. We held off on getting one because I couldn't find one I really loved and I just hate giant double strollers. In the beginning I wore ds#2 and pushed ds#1 in the stroller. When he was around 4 months we just got the inexpensive Jeep side by side stroller and use that only when we absoutely have too.We live near Disney and go there occasionallyand that is the ONLY place I have used the double. Ds#1 doesn't want to be in the stroller anymore and hasn't for some time. He does really good walking with us so I'm glad I didn't waste the money.
I would have been lost without one, and still would be. My first daughter was not walking when the second one was born. Can't really carry both of them.
They are 15 months and 3 months now, and I still use it all the time.
I guess if you are not really a stroller person, then you probably would not use a double too much. My almost 5 year old would still go in a stroller if I let him

THIS. I wore DD for the first 6 months because she screamed in her infant seat and was in the convertible car seat, BUT now she is getting too heavy. DS RUNS like a maniac if I let him down and he really still likes the stroller for relaxing and snacking. We get out a lot during the week and need it. I actually dislike my double now that I am having to use it. Just got the BJ City Select hoping to replace it and it is good to hear another person say they like it naturelle! I am on the fence. DS loves it in the house so far.
