still chart you BBT when going through IF treatments? I charted for about a year. The whole TTC process was stressing me out, so I took a break a couple months ago and said I would revisit in two months. I am debating whether or not I should start it up again. Do you think it is worth it or is it not necessary during treatments?
TIA!
Re: Do any of you...
I tossed that chart right out the window. I only used it for TI, and that's not an option for us to concieve...so i figured why bother.
I do have to call the RE on CD1, so I do keep track of that.
I don't chart temps, but I do still use FF (the free version) to keep track of things on certain days....like my hormone levels from my baseline appts, what days I did what shots, etc.
I have to say, I don't miss that thermometer.
DX: High FSH/DOR
It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

I chart throughout my cycles. It still has been helpful, for instance, we adjusted my meds start time for this last EPP/luteal phase ganirelix cycle as per my previous post-IVF cycles, and my dosing was spot on. If we didn't I would have been short several estrogen patches and antagonist injections. I also like knowing how the meds effect each cycle, each unmedicated subsequent cycle, how cysts effect my cycle, and what happened in detail after my d+c and I guess c/p.
But I like information and know what to do with it. My RE does not review my charts or anything.
YMMV.
I charted for 16 cycles, before/during/after my 6 IUIs, I stopped this July as my puppy destroyed my thermometer so I took that as I sign and it was wonderful for a few months of not charting.
BUT, then I started to see an Acupuncturist and she is having me chart/temp again...ugh. I do it though, as I hope it helps my Acupuncturist adjust my treatments that are the best for me. Also, having the BBT history from day 1 of charting, helped my Acupuncturist too.
