A MYSTERY!LO playing at night...

LO sleeps in a floor bed for the most part (we bedshare after the first waking). The other day I woke up around 7:30 AM and was suprised LO was not in bed with us Sometimes if DH hears him cry he goes and gets him, sometimes I do it and just don't remember. He usually sleeps in his bed tell between 3-5.

DH checks the monitor and it's working. So we say YAY for STTN and go check on him. He had gotten off the floor bed and over by his toy shelf and pulled out his cloth car that is on the ground shelf! He did his happy yell when he saw us and smiled and seemed happy.

The funny thing is he can only scoot in a circle. Defiantly not enough (from what I've seen) to make it to his toy shelf. Maybe he rolled to it? But he would have had to do some crazy get out of bed, turn a bit, roll a few times, and turn a bit, and scoot a tiny bit of action which I also don't see him doing even though he rolls well, but never that much!

DH is convinced he is a closet scooter and spent yesterday putting a gate on the stairs "just in case he scoots out here to find us". And he did something similar the night before last... IT IS A MYSTERY!!!! Geeked

  • My little guy rolls everywhere, sometimes fifteen feet.  He does it quickly too, usually when I turn my back.  Yestrday, we also watched him use one arm to pivot on his belly so he was facing the opposite direction.  Isn't it amazing how crafty they are?

It is really cool how crafty they are! My LO likes to push his butt in he air and flop over to roll faster. He rolls the normal way to so it is funny to see him do both in a row.  Before we had LO I thought he would be so much more...helpless I guess...for the first year. But he is already learning so much!

  • I can just picture your DS doing the dancing baby behind you backs and playing all "oh I can't crawl yet I's just a wee baby" when you're looking. Little stinker! Wink PS Is Raz a nickname or full name? [roz] or [raz]? :)

    LOL,I know!

It is his name. Raz Atlas. DH and I fell in love with the name and it fits him so well!  I figured he could use his middle name (Atlas) if he wanted later in life if he wanted something a bit more professional. A bit odd but we love it! Smile
