When to pump

I have 3 week old twins.  I've tried to BF but for a variety of reasons I am thinking EP will work better for me.  I have been pumping after current feedings, but only get about 2 oz combined.  however, by the time I can pump, it's often a fair amount of time after the feeding.  I wonder if that affects my supply?

Also, I am only currently BF one of the twins. 

I can't seem to catch up on a supply.  Any insight would be great!

I find best results when pumping after a shower.  As well as during feeding!!!  Although it puts a kink in my neck, when I'm feeding, the other breast is normally pouring, so I go for the pump!
