NTR: got a new computer and cannot figure out how to type a question mark on the keyboard

I know this sounds stupid but I can`t get the question mark to type.  I also coudn`t figure out how to make the @ sign work at first either but I learned that rather than pushing the shift key, there is a key called AltGr that I hold down and it works like shift.

I tried this for the question mark key but it doesn?t work.  I`m now noticing my apostrophes are all weird too. 

It`s an HP computer and keyboard.  Any ideas .  Sorry couldn`t finish the question with the appropriate punctuation mark.  haha.

That sounds strange...could you google that particular brand of keyboard and see fi there's a cheat sheet somewhere?

oooh I know how to fix this!  press and hold Ctrl and then press Shift at the same time, you may have to do it twice.
