Can you tell me more about BaltoAP?  Do you meet mostly on weekdays or do you ever have any weekend events?

I joined briefly, but the events were in the city more - up towards Towson, too far away from me, so I didn't go to any events. I have no idea when they are. I just know that is one of the few AP groups I have come across. There is also takeanap.org which is mostly central MD, AA county and Baltimore County, and there is a group for Carroll County

It's an attachment parenting parents group on Yahoo. From the website:
"Baltimore Attachment Parenting (abbreviated BaltAP) is a group for parents living in the Baltimore, Maryland, area who share an interest in attachment parenting. Some of the practices associated with attachment parenting are "baby wearing" using a sling or other carrier, extended breastfeeding, cosleeping/family bed, positive discipline, and homeschooling."

You usually don't have to do everything to join, just be opened mind about those who do.
