Ok...I've just started wrapping with a woven (gira 4.2m). Before this, I had only wrapped with my Moby. I love the support the gira gives, but I feel that no matter how tight I'm making it my LO always slips down into it. Her head and legs are against me but her belly is pulling away. It's almost like the middle of the wrap isn't tight enough. I'm doing the abbreviated FWCC from this website
https://www.wrapyourbaby.com/BabyWrapVideos.html (first video) - I am tucking my LO legs in froggy style since she prefers it that way. I am also tying at my back since I have enough length to do so. Am I not tightening the bottom rail enough? Any ideas or suggestions? TIA
Re: What am I doing wrong?
Sounds like the middle of the wrap does need to be tightened more. One thing about wovens is that you do have to tighten along the width of the wrap to get things nice and snug. And because newborns are really floppy, you definitely notice when you don't.
Here's my video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot7XYLiKVak - sorry it's not a real baby - will have to redo in a few months ;-)
