Pregnant after IF

Ovidrel shot...

Ok quick question to throw out at all of you.  I went to my Dr. today and had my US all is good and was told to take my ovidrel shot tonight.  But I wasn't told a time is there a specific time I should do it?  The IUI will take place at approx 930 on Sunday AM.

My plan was to do it at 9pm (its 830 CST).

I did this last year in Oct and don't remember if there was a time to do it or not.  Everything worked great as you can see from my ticker.

Re: Ovidrel shot...

  • My RE was adamant about the time I was to do my Ovidrel trigger. I believe it was exactly 36 hours prior to my ER, but don't quote me on that. Good luck! Edited: whoops, I meant ER and not ET :)

  • Good to know thank you!  I just decided screw it their oncall Dr is getting a call because this is kind of important.  Whew...ok just got off the phone and she told me to take it between 9 and 930 CST tonight.  Dr. was very nice and very apologectic that no one gave me that info.

  • I always did my trigger shots 12 and 36 hours before my B2B IUIs. So I would trigger at midnight, my first IUI would be at 12 the next day, and the second IUI would be at 12 the following day. I think if you're doing one IUI they shoot for 36 hours. Your RE will probably want you to do it at a specific time.

    Good luck!
