My sister told me that she went to lunch with a friend today, and they both brought their 3 month old babies. Her friend gave her 3 month old some chicken & rice soup, a taste of a pickle, some green tea, and let him lick the salt off a potato chip. Now is it just me.. or is 3 months a tad (or wayyyy) too young to give those types of foods?! His little tummy probably can't handle that!
From what I have been told and read, that is way too early. The earliest to introduce any solids is 4 months, and the recommendation is 6 months. Not to mention, you start with things that are a little easier to eat.

That's what I thought! And not to mention, my sister also told me that when the baby was ONE MONTH old, this girl gave him a sucker on Halloween! EEK!
From my understanding that is way too early. I had planned on waiting until 6 months to give DD solids, but everyone (family) bullied me into starting cereal at 5 months and then I started veggies and fruits at 6 months.

Some parents are so strange! Read a parenting book, right? That is too young. I'm not an expert but at 3mo the only thing a baby should have is breast milk or formula.
