Easy Bake Oven.

Anyone get this for Christmas?  Have you made sugar goo yet?  We made the petit fours.  It was one of the accessories you buy separate.   The kids were so excited to bake but the little cakes had to be baked in MY microwave oven.  Weird.  The kids were too impatient for the fondant to set so it was goo when they decorated their cake.  It hardened but took quite some time.  I know have a $hit ton of sprinkles everywhere and 10 more dishes to wash.  All in great fun?!?!

My mom bought the boys one. It came out of the box, but we have not baked yet. You had to cook the cake in your oven???

Funny, we have my Dh's Easybake downstairs in the original box circa. 1975 or so. Think we might e-bay it!

Not oven but microwave-- I believe I put microwave oven tho...

ML got one from MIL. I knew this in adv and TB bought her the cookie decorating kit. We Baked the ones that came with it and both of them (and I!) had so much fun. MIL also got her a cookbook that has recipes specifically for kid ovens. It's called Baking With Mommy and we plan to do some this weekend. The kits are expensive!
