Baby Names

Okay need some help/suggestions/ideas on names

I am having a difficult time naming this baby, although we do not know the gender as of yet, I am finding out in 4 weeks and would like to have an idea.

The issue I am having is every little girl name I like ends up endind in "ley" or "ee", our last name is Morley so I am a little worried that just sounds weird, opinions ? With my DS I had his name picked out to be a girl, well I was wrong and he was a boy, needless to say I am glad we did not name him the girls name because of how very common it is and have a family member now that named their DD that. My DS name is still common and I would like to avoid that again if possible.

So I need your suggestions, for a boy we will use MN "Chad" after DH brother who passed 2/20/10 and for girl we like MN "Kay" after my grandmother, mothers MN, and beginning of mine. but like I said with our last name, first names have been hard, so any tips, help, suggestions would be much appreciated !

I really like the names Carson & Cooper for a boy but not set in stone,DH thinks they sound bad with the MN ? lol

 H&H 9 months to all !!

  • No I had not thought about it, I was just automatically drawn to the names with the "ee" or "ley" endings, great suggestions though.

The girl names I like are McKinley& Presley, but family members think it sounds horrible with the last name. lol

Thanks for your help I will def. take them into consideration !

  • I think the -ley names are a bad idea, but the -ee sound names may be ok depending on the name. Were there any in particular you want feedback on?

  • Carson and Cooper sound SO baby-ish.
