Anyone having a problem with their discharge kicking in to overdrive? A couple weeks ago I noticed a gush of it on my undies. Thought it was just a fluke, but now it's been happening more. I think I'm going to have to go the panty liner route. Anyone else?

YES! I SOOO have been noticing this and actually thought about posting it after seeing even more this morning.
I read somewhere that around 17 weeks the mucous membranes swell from the increase in bloow flow and cause added fluids (nose stuffiness and discharge)

Yes, this totally. I just read about it either in my 17 week Bump newsletter or on Baby Center. It is crazy how much it has increased!!!

I just hit 17 weeks today...The Bump just sent me this as an update.
"Though increased blood flow is good for baby, it might be making you a little...damp. Body secretions (think sweat, mucus, nosebleeds, and vaginal discharge) are in full force. This week might also mark the first time you feel baby move inside you, but don't worry if it's another two months before you notice anything. (Or realize that this time, it's actually not gas.)"
I was told during my last pregnancy to just get used to stuff leaking out of every possible place your body has an opening...yep, pretty much true. Luckily I stocked up on pantyliners when they were on sale and I had coupons before I was pregnant

Welcome to the things they don't tell us about pregnancy, until after we are pregnant!!! It doesn't get any better really, but it is so so totally worth it in the end. Stocking up on panty liners is a great idea because you need them for after too!!!
Mine's been bad for the last couple of weeks now - Please do not tell me it's going to be even worse after next week! Yuk!
this was me too. Thinking it could not get worse. It did.
haha! me too. it even kinda went away for a few days. But today it has kicked into overdrive. I'm more of a serial undie-changer, but I don't think i'll be able to keep up.
I am almost exactly where you are in your pregnancy and I've noticed the same thing this very week. I've had discharge the whole time, but this week it's gotten to the point where I need a liner 24/7. And I know what you mean about the gushes. And yeah, it's gross. I don't think it's going away anytime soon, though.
Re: Discharge is grossing me out lately!
