Women Food and God

by Geneen Roth

Anyone read it?

Thoughts?

Re: Women Food and God

  • haven't read it, but i have heard about it.  I was hoping this was a review.

I did just read a great book about food by Barbara Kingsolver called animal, vegetable, miracle.  It's a non-fiction book about one year that she and her family eat only local foods.  There are a lot of great recipes that go along with it too :)

lol...it probably isn't along the same lines at all, but it has inspired me to purchase and prepare food a lot differently.

If you read Women, Food, and God, I would love to hear what you think of it.

  • I liked it.  I think her assessment of eating/food is really reasonable.  It is an entertaining read too as she is funnyish.  I recommend the book.

however, sadly I tend to read stuff like this & agree wholeheartedly & not be able to argue the other side or dissect her point of view.  So that is kinda what I was hoping for here - someone to say they thought it was rubbish & then explain why..so I could have some food for thought on this.

again, I totally recommend the book.
