hey, thanks for your response.  what is lecthicin?  i am taking phytolaca which is a homeopathic remedy that fights infection...and so far, no more mastitis.

google it or look it up on kellymom.  I cant remember off hand but I think its a fat supplement, it has nothing to do with infections. I bought a huge bottle at costco and took it every day for a year.  I cant remember the dose either, you'll need to google that. My arms were actually sore from constantly massaging out the lumps.  This stuff got rid of the lumps right away.  AGain, I know that you've seen LCs and so if they didnt suggest this, then maybe there's a reason why but this is what my lc told me to do.  there's nothing wrong with stopping BFing, you did an awesome job.  good luck with whatever you decide is best for you guys.
