is a place for any of you who are experiencing the world of
azoospermia. Whether you were recently diagnosed and are trying to make
sense of it all, or you have started preparing for IVF or IUI, or have
decided instead to move on to adoption. Please join in the group by
posting! Check in is on Thursdays.
Learning
that the chances of having a biological child with your husband are
slim to none is not easy, and is, frankly, devastating news. This check
in is a place where we can share how we are coping (or not) with our
new realities, provide information we've learned through investigating
our options, adjusting our lifelong dreams and plans, and dealing with
the situation.
I'd
like to extend an invitation to those who have been fortunate enough to
experience pregnancy, childbirth, and/or adoption. Ultimately, all of
us desire to create a family. The experiences and insight of those who
have reached that goal will be quite helpful to those of us on that
road.

What is your favorite thing to make for dinner?
Currently my favorite thing to make is homemade marinara, hot italian sausage and angel hair pasta. I tend to go through phases though so I am sure that will change.

nothing new here, starting to freak less about cycling and get more excited! Calling to schedule an appt with H's MFI urologist after the New Year.
QOTW: I love to make jalapeno cheese soup because it calls for lots of chopping and I always make a big mess. I also enjoy making different pasta combos.

Update: I started 100mg CLomid last night for IUI #2. Hoping we get more than one follie this time! We are struggling to decide what to do next-do we keep going with Clomid and IUI? Move up to Injectables? Do we go to IVF? We are lucky that we have coverage-and our sperm may not be the only problem-I have Endo as well.
QOTW: I love to use my crock pot. I've made some good food in it! Plus I make a really good Baked Rigatoni, but ti is soooo bad for you!

QOTW: I don't really have a favorite. Right now I'm experimenting with some healthier recipes but am struggling to find ones DH really likes.

Update: Went to the new RE yesterday and I absolutely love him. We are going to go through another IUI, but this time with Femura, Gonal F Injections and some other medication starting with an L, but I totally forgot the name. He wants my hubby to go to another urologist at Cornell for a second opinion, so we will see what happens. We are going to start in February.
QOTW: What I like to cook for dinner......I really don't know how to cook that much stuff, so anything easy is good for us, like Chicken Parm.

Hey ladies I haven't check in for awhile. Wow this group has grown. When we received our diagnosis almost three years ago now there were only a handful of azoo. ladies around.
I don't have any real updates except that at christmas we finally shared with my immediate family about our IF struggle and conceiving with DS. No body really said anything except my mom who said, "So DH isn't the father but you're the mother" really really hurtful and poor choice of words there. Oh well. Now they know.
I am hoping and praying for all of you who are cycling. I so hate that any of us have to deal with this.
QOTW: I hate cooking so I don't really do it often but I do love dumplings using my Great Grandma's recipe they're super easy and delicious.
Nothing really new here. With DH's bonus, we now have saved 2/3 of the IVF cost. Only 5K to go! DH will be going for more blood work in the next few weeks and we are just waiting until May.
QOTW: Spaghetti, but DH doesn't really like it, so I make Chicken Parm a lot.
Happy New Year everyone!!! Sorry i'm so late! Not much new from last week. We're still super excited that dh's 2nd biopsy found enough good sperm to freeze for 3 to 4 IVF cycles!!! I'm still skeptical but trying to be hopefull!!!
I really do hope 2011 brings us lots of BFP!!!!! I don't think we'll be able to afford IVF anytime soon but hopefully we can take this year to save save save! First, we need to get 2nd jobs!!! Or atleast one good paying job for me
