Can I ask for T&Ps for my kitty?

She got out of the house on Xmas eve and has been gone ever since.  She was picked up by the SPCA today but was very dehydrated and hypothermic so she's at the animal hospital now getting warm fluids.  Unfortunately, she's an old kitty (18 years), so the vet isn't sure that her kidneys are going to recover.  We're hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
