We'd like to feature a local mom

Each week we feature one of our active local community members right on the front of thenestbaby.com home page. It's always so nice to put faces with the names that we all read online every day, isn't it? It's even better when we all know more about one another.

I'd like to feature more of you, not only as the featured local mom of the week, but in the "real moms" and "new arrivals" areas of the website, in addition to "The Daily Poop," our website newsletter.

So how do you get to be featured in one of these areas? The first thing to do is take a look at your profile. The more complete it is, the more likely that you will be chosen to be featured. Take a minute to look at your profile and ask yourself the following questions:

* does it have a picture of yourself, you and your husband/parther or your child?

* have you filled in the "about me" section?

* do you write a blog post from time to time, keeping us up to date on what's going on in your life?

If the answer to all of these questions is "yes," then you might find your profile (and your picture!) looking back at you the next time you log on.
