Okay, I'm not even going to bother apologizing for being a bad bumpie, because it's probably getting old.
But I do have a question . . . for those that swaddled on a regular basis at night, when did you stop? How did you make the transition? DD has been STTN for about 2-3 weeks now, and we are scared to death to change the routine that has worked so well! We know that we have to start transitioning her to the crib soon, but I just wan't sure about the swaddle.
Re: When did you stop swaddling?
When she kept breaking out is when we transitioned to the sleep sack. I LOVE swaddling her, and would even swaddle her for naps. But she started breaking out just before Thanksgiving (so just before 4 months). If she tolerates it, I'd keep on swaddling.
Have you gone back to work yet? What's your status?
Me too except "she" loves it!
This!
We quit when he was breaking loose, at over 4 months old. It's safe to continue swaddling until LO breaks loose or is rolling over. We then just switched him to a Halo Sleepsack instead.
