Yesterday (CD14) I went in for a monitoring u/s. In past Clomid cycles I have O'ed on CD16/17, so I wasn't particularly worried by my RE's recommendation to not come in until CD 14. I was super surprised to learn that I had 2 very large follicles (25mm &26mm). I was surprised both to have follicles so large at CD14 (took Clomid CDs 5-9) and surprised that I hadn't ovulated them on my own already. I couldn't help but wonder if they were functional cysts and not viable follicles. I was instructed to trigger immediately after the u/s and then return this morning for the IUI.?
A couple hours after the IUI I started to get a dull, heavy aching on my right side that has become progressively more painful. When I am sitting it's not so bad, but it is quite painful to stand up straight or walk. I have never had a cyst before, but I am thinking this sounds like one. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did you wait it out or call your RE? I just don't know whether I should be concerned or if this even sounds like a cyst. If it is a cyst, it upsets me that this cycle is likely worthless. It is already the weekend here in Israel (our work week is Sun-THurs and it is evening now) so I figure I will just wait it out until Sunday unless the pain becomes unbearable, but I would really like to hear other peoples' experiences or advice. Thanks, ladies!

Thanks, Papps. I also thought maybe it was ovulation, especially since the time the pain began was around 28-29 hours after trigger. The one thing that makes me doubt this possibility is that my temp increased almost a full degree this morning, so I thought perhaps I ovulated on my own last night. Who knows I guess:)
