Where to buy EPO?

And what is the dosage for getting body ready for labor? Can I get it at Whole Foods, or GNC or what?

Re: Where to buy EPO?

  • Whole foods. I think I took a couple a day by mouth and then inserted a couple vaginally at night.

  • I got mine at whole foods - they had a few different brands, but I got the standard 360 (which is whole food's brand) at 500 mg.  My MW recommended 1000mgs per day, but the bottle says you can take 3 - 6 pills per day, so that's up to 3000mg!

This brand is an oral supplement - if you get one that is like this and does not specifically say it can be used as a suppository, you need to break open the capsule before inserting it vaginally.  The gelatin coating used on the oral ones is meant to break down with saliva and stomach acid, and won't be very well dissolved in the vagina.

  • I actually picked it up at CVS in the supplement section (it was a larger CVS store)
