Nightime leaking after 6 weeks

Hi ladies!

About 6 or more weeks ago I started using swaddlebee pockets at night for my LO. No leak issues. I would use both inserts.

The last week or so he started leaking through the top some nights. I did notice it helps to make sure he is pointed down but even then sometimes he still leaks.

Do you think the diapers are not working as well or he is just peeing more? And maybe I should try something else?

I only cloth at night right now. I do have some prefolds and covers but have not tried those at night.

Are the inserts soaked in the morning? If they are completly saturated then you need more absorbancy. Is he a tummy sleeper? DD is and she leaks out of the front of pockets if she naps in them.  She doesn't leak out of fitteds during naps and overnights.

Yes every layer is soaked. The insert that goes in the pocket and the insert on top.

So that means its not cutting it I take it. He is mostly a tummy sleeper

Yep sounds like you need more absorbency.  We use fitteds at night, mostly SBish snapless with an extra hemp doubler with either wool or a Thirstes cover and no leaks.  The fitted work so well because they whole diaper is absorbent, not just the inserts.

Oh boy. I am still so new to this. So overwhelming. I loved when the swaddlebee's alone worked
