Dry Scalp?

DS is starting to get dry scalp, it's not to the point of flaking yet but I think that's just around the corner.  What works well?  Head n' Shoulders?  DS hasn't had dry skin/scalp since he was a newborn.  DH wanted to put babyoil on his head tonight, mind you, AFTER his tub, and I shot that idea down

DS has dry skin/scalp and the best thing for him is to just not wash his hair but a couple times a week. Unless I have to. But I use Aveeno when I do and it has helped his scalp not flake. When he had cradle cap as a baby I used Head n' Shoulders and it helped fast. FWIW my pedi told me babyoil will only make the dry scalp worse.
