DD started getting a runny nose yesterday, and last night was miserable. She kept waking up crying and at 1am she wouldn't stop crying, didn't want to soothe with some milk in a bottle. I gave her some Tylenol and walked her and bounced her but she still seemed to toss and turn until she was able to sleep in late. She also had a tough time with her nap, I had to rock her most of the time.
Any ideas of how to make her more comfy? I'm not sure what is making her most miserable at this point, I'm guessing the congestion so she has to breathe through her mouth, so her throat may have that sharp dryness to it.. poor thing.
Re: DD is sick.. how to make her more comfy?
Both LOs are sick right now so i feel your pain. Im praying we are on the tail end of this cold!!
We did 99% of what pp said. we use baby vicks, cool midst humidifier, bulb syring and saline spray, tylenol/motrin, and aquaphore for chapped cheeks and nose
the only thing we dont do is lift the matteress bc now that LOs are tossing and turning and rolling i hate the idea of them being down hill? how do you lift the matteress w/o accidentally doing the opposite?
other than that lots of patience!
