Molars before eye teeth??

I just felt DD's mouth because she has been drooling like crazy again.  On the bottom she has 4 teeth, then a space on each side where the eye teeth would be and then the molars are cutting through.  Weird!  Anyone else hacve this happen?

Yep, DD has had all four of them for a while now. No eye teeth yet. I think they might be coming in soon though since she's been drooling like crazy!

From what I have read, this is the norm. DS has all 4 molars and just starting cutting his eye teeth this week.

DS doesn't have his molars yet, but he's been drooling like crazy and his gums are swollen where they'll be coming in. The space for his eye teeth are normal and there aren't any signs they'll be appearing any time soon.

1 year molars come in before eye teeth in most children.  We just cut our 4th molar, in fact DH broke the last little piece of skin over it while he was brushing LO's teeth tonight, and we have an eye tooth starting to swell.  I will be sooo happy when teething is behind us!

Yep.  DS has 4 molars in and no incisors yet.  His gums are really swollen in their place though and he too has been a drool monster.

I expect them soon.

Yes- DS stopped STTN thru the night & I couldn't figure out why & I kept checking his canines & nothing - then I realized a few days later that his molars came though!  I wished I had given him tylenol for it!

DD has had all 4 molars for a couple of months now and just broke her first eye tooth a couple days ago. The other top one is about to break and the bottoms are still nowhere in sight. She also already has the four front on the top and bottom. This seems to be the norm.

Yeah we are working on all 4 molars right now, one is almost cut through.    LO only has the front two top and bottom teeth.  So that will be a little weird.

This is how it was for my daughter as well.  She also got her top 2 side teeth before her top 3 middle teeth lol.

Harper's 4th tooth (after her two middle bottom teeth and one of her top side teeth) was her upper left molar Teeth can come in at any order. She's since cut her other 3 molars while cutting her front two teeth in the past 7ish weeks. We still don't have her fourth top tooth, her bottom teeth on either side of the middle two or any of her eye teeth.
