Question about progesterone levels

I had my progesterone tested today (7 dpo) and it was 11. I will obviously talk to the doctor tomorrow, but anyone know if that is good/normal/not good? What were your experiences? Thanks!

Re: Question about progesterone levels

  • I am glad you asked this question bc I was wondering the same thing! I had mine checked last cycle and came back at 11.2. My Dr prescribed prometrium for cd14 - cd28. I was supposed to get it checked again this cycle but aince my cycle was screwy, I didn't. I am not sure what is "normal" though - from what I found online, anything over 10 seems ok for non-mediated cycle. Will be anxious to see what other people's were.

  • I've read that anything over 10 is good if it's a natural cycle.

  • Anything over 10 is good if it is an unmedicated cycle.  But that is borderline and progesterone fluctuates all the time, so I would ask that you get your levels tested at 7dpo each cycle.
