give me your favorite martini recipe.  

I am not the biggest fan of vodka, especially raspberry flavored vodka, so if we can keep the vodka to a minimum I would love you even more than I already do.

I love Hypnotiq:

1.5 oz of that, with .5 oz of vodka (you can use plain or a citrus flavor) and a splash of white cranberry or white grape juice.

That's my favorite martini of all time.

I agree. Hypnotic gets a big from me. My friend introduced this to me awhile back and it was an instant favorite!

I love a chocolate martini...but only when it's made with Godiva. I think when my BIL makes them he uses about 1 oz each of all their different chocolate liquers. I'm no help...just google it, I guess!

My husbands aunts love blueberry martinis and use the following

1 lime wedge, fresh blueberries, 1 part blueberry syrup, and 2 part vodka. It sounds like a lot of vodka but honestly the blueberry syrup is powerful and they actually taste awesome. The brand of syrup is Italian but I can't think of it off hand.

I just thought of another one.

2 oz of rum

sprig of fresh mint

drizzle of simple syrup

soda

Use a martini shaker with ice to shake the rum, syrup and mint.  Strain into a martini glass and top with a splash of soda

OH - here's another one

1 oz limoncello

1 oz rum

sprig of fresh rosemary

soda

Same instructions as above.

These all sound great!!  I am going to use one of them for DH and I on NYE.

a martini sans vodka?!

OP, you should try whipped cream flavored vodka.  the brand is pinnacle...if you mix it with orange soda, or OJ, it tastes like a creamcicle.  just put it in a martini glass to call it a martini.
