I just got a new phone, the Droid Incredible.  I am totally new to this app world and have no idea what apps to get.  Any suggestions would be great.  I am open to games as well.

Which Android OS do you have?

You could get the FB, gmail,ymail, google maps, you tube, advance task killer (very useful in finding out how much each process is taking), flashlight, latitude, places, tip calculators, banking apps(BofAmerica for me) etc. These are some of the apps.

I don't play too many games on my phone but the thing that is going around now is Angry birds.

I have the original Droid and I love it....

Get the advanced task killer this will stop all your apps from running 24/7, Shazam, wordfued, pandora, angry birds, Vlingo, Urbanspoon, google sky map, yelp, these are what I use. You'll get the hang of it all, it does take time and I got upset because I didn't know what I was doing for the first week...you'll get it!! Enjoy!

my favorite apps are TMZ, epicurious and pandora.

i also had a dirty addiction to this stupid game called Sally's Salon. And then to another equally stupid game  called Cake Mania.  Be careful!

My favorite apps

-Our Groceries:  It's a grocery list program.  Multiple users can share the same lists, so I can make a grocery list and DH will see it on his phone.
-C25K Pro:  Simple app that dings for intervals in the couch to 5K running program
-Kindle:  I mostly read on my kindle, but I love that I can read my books on my phone too
-Craigsnotification:  You can set up searches in Craigslist and be notified when new items pop up matching your search criteria

And as any download goes, you should always read the user community comments on the developer before downloading their app. There are some hacking apps going around that use your personal data for identity theft. Be sure to use apps only you deem are safe.
