Twin skin... a ?

Ok so it occurs to me, if I had a problem with the texture of the skin on my legs, hands, or face, I would try a lotion or potion of some sort.  There are some things out there that I'm thinking of trying on my "twin skin" and I don't mean surgery.  Yes, that would be the only thing to make a drastic change, I'm just hoping for a little improvement here, not surgical results.

And I do mean the loose skin, not the chub.  No cream is going to take away the flab that may still be lurking beneath my skin, diet and exercise will be taking that away.

Have you tried anything that has worked, or not worked?  Creams meant for cellulite, anything with collagen or elastin, caffeine, anything?

  • if there was a lotion that worked- it would be the best selling product out there b/c it would work miracles.
  • There's nothing you can do. Once that elasticity is stretched to the limit, there's no coming back.

  • I asked my dermatologist about this last week, and she told me to keep the skin hydrated, massage it, and do ab exercises to tone the muscles underneath.  She said there is no miracle cure, or else she would give it to me.

  • Meh, tummy tucks aren't that bad. I was supposed to have one in November but plans got changed. Still holding out for sometime this year.

Spoken by someone who hasn't had one.  :)

I had one.  It was the worst pain of my life.  Its serious serious surgery.  Horrible recovery that can take up to a year to fully heal.
