Trying to Get Pregnant

Trying to conceive and no period this month

Hello All,

Im new to this board but figured you would be able to enlighten me and give me some advice.  Well Ive been off the pill since Aug and we have been TTC since then.  Ive had a pretty regular period (24-26) days every month, but this month nothing.  Since Im keeping track of my days in between period as of yesterday its been 31 days.  I took a test Xmas morning but it was negative.   I do seem to be going to the restroom ALOT, and my stomach feels bloated, and I am very moody and tired.  I also get these terrible stomach aches and headaches that come and go on their own

Was it too early to take the test or could all of these symptons be in my head.  Im just not sure.   What do you think is going on with my body?

Any advice is much appreciated.

THX

  • I would take another test today or tomorrow AM.

  • I would personally POAS every couple of days until BFP or AF showed.

But also take into consideration that since you just came off BCP in Aug your body has to have time to adjust.

    GL!

  • I came off the pill in July and was very excited when my periods came normally every 30-32 days. My last period was november 5th and haven't had one since. You can test every week or wait until 60 days then go to the dr and they'll prescribe provera to get your period back. GL to you!
  • The other posters give good advice about testing.  If you do have another cycle, you may want to consider charting, as you may have ovulated late (or even not ovulated yet).  Fertility Friend has lots of great info.  You can get there through most people's cycle tickers on this site.  Good luck!

  • I would take another test today dont worry if its negitive it might be to early for the at home test to pick up your hormones. if you really want to know 100% go to the doctor they will be able to tell you.

    good luck!!!1

Yes, your body may still be adjusting. I got off the pill in early April had my period every 28 days until 3 months ago. Then all of a sudden I was earlier one time, 5 days later than usual the other time and then about 3 days later the last time.. Once off birth control and hormonal control your body can do all kinds of things....

    Good luck!!
