NBFR: SIL preggers... vent (kind of)

You're not alone. Those feelings are perfectly normal for anyone dealing with infertility. It doesn't feel good when you want to feel happy for others (and often genuinely are) but you also have to mourn that it's not your turn. And that hurts.

And it continues to hurt...but not as much as time goes on. Hang in there...hopefully the specialist will get you guys on the right track and it'll be YOUR turn to celebrate soon.

  • You are not alone in your feelings.  Dh and I tried for a year before I got pregnant.  Then at 13 weeks I found out we were having a M/C.  DH doesn't get it either.  I know he tries but I just don't talk to him about it anymore.  I've been lurking on the TTC after a loss board and it is nice to know You and I are not alone in our feelings.  It is tough, but hang in there.  A  coworker is pregnant and she found out after my M/C it was hard to be around her but I adore her and It is getting easier.  Family same thing Cousin is pregnant and family is excited because she has tried for so long.  I'm also happy but I still get jealous so I try to limit my time around it, until I get strong enough to deal
