Nicknames for Ryder

My ds name is Avery Ryder.. Everyone on my side of the family wants to call him Ryder. That's fine with me, but I can't think of any nicknames for Ryder. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't want to call him Ry. Right now i call him Avy, but I know he'll grow out of that.

How bout pet names? My lil bro is still called bubby and jare bear. I call DS stuff like poopy butt and lil man.

If you lived round here, theres a minor league baseball team called the Rough Riders. Thatd be a cute nickname in that context

Sometimes babies just dont have nicknames. My sons name is Brayden - yet i call him boogie butt. Clearly i cant use that his whole life, but i dont plan on calling him bray or brady like everyone else told me. If that was the case i would of named him brady! I personally feel like nicknames just come to them. I have called my niece "punks" since oct 2009 since she was a pumpkin for Halloween, but my sister calls her BK. Her name is Brooklyn.She responds to all of them, but i think im going to call her punks her whole life. See how her prom date likes that   My sister has this thing about two syllable nicknames, since hers is MJ and her husband is JD.

oh and BTW, IRL my name is Sarah. People called me Sarah or "sar", but once i got into middle school i was known as red. Still today, people from my past, even teachers, call me red. So this goes with my theory that names will just come to you.
