Top 3 reasons why FIL can't babysit...

FIL is in town for the holidays and is staying with us.  He keeps telling us to go out and he will watch LO.....this is why not:

1.) He tried to feed LO a big potato chip - like the hard kettle cooked ones....I told him that she only has 4 teeth and that is to hard for her...plus too big.  Not so bad....keep reading.

2.) He was sitting next to LO while she was in her high chair and he kept showing her his mug of coffee and saying "do you want some?"  I said to him, "don't tease her, she can't have that"  he says....." She can't have it when momma is here, but when momma is gone..."  Good Lord...Coffee?!?!?!?!

3.) Tonight at dinner he has a chicken thigh bone and he says to me " you know, if you take the knuckles off of this bone she can chomp on it"  He was dead serious.  I said "My child is not a dog!"  And he shows me the bone (about the size of a mans finger) and says "really, she won't choke or anything."  I looked at him and said don't you dare try to give that to her!

And he wonders why we won't leave him alone with the baby.....

Is it time for him to go home yet?!?!?

Just keep reminding yourself that he's a product of a different era. And don't let him babysit, lol.

He is one strange man, lol. Don't leave the baby with him alone..
