when you were TTC (or if you are TTC#2)?

Did you DTD every other day?  Or every day?  When I got preg with DD we BDed every day from when I got a peak reading on my monitor until 2 days after I O'ed.  The last couple cycles of TTC#2 we have done the same with no luck.  My friend who is a PA at my OB office said we need to go to every other day.  She said too frequent sex can decrease the volume of semen and could be our problem.  I read mixed information on this when I google.  I'm curious what others did. 

I got a high readign on my CBEFM this morning and am trying to decide if we start BDing tonight or tomorrow!

The 2 times I got pg with the CBEFM I waited until I got a PEAK day and then we would have sex on the 2 peak days and sometimes the day after the last peak. I temp so I knew I didnt ovulate until the 2nd peak day.

When TTC DS I didn't use a monitor or temp, but I did use an ovulation test a couple months towards the end, wondering if I was even ovulating. (The ones that are like a preg. test that you pee on, but it has two lines around ovulation).

We were typically having sex about every other day except when I assumed I was ovulating or if the test said I was, then I think it was each of those days and the day after.

I got pregnant both times 2 days before I ovulated.

She is saying this because sperm lasts a few days in your body and, well, the male body needs a couple of days to create good new ones. If you DTD every day, the sperm count lowers, which could potentially cause conception issues.

The cycle I got pregnant with DD, we BD the day before I O'd.  I was going for every-other-day.

With DS it took us 10 months and we tried every possible way. Every other, every day, only around ovulation, whatever else. The month we conceived was one where we did it A LOT. Not necessarily every day, but definitely no less than every other. With this LO, we conceived on the 3rd month. The first 2 months we did it every other day, and on the 3rd we just had a lot of sex. To be exact, we had sex on days 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23. lol I apparently O'd on day 7 that cycle!

We had sex everyday the 4 days before I O'd, but not on the day I O'd when I got pg this time.

With ds we dtd everyday for what seemed like awhile!  With this one, we dtd once when I might have been ovulating...I didn't chart or temp or anything-we just got lucky!

We did every other day.  Got pg our first cycle.

Every day. Cycle 1- a couple of times/day, got a UTI. Cycle 2- down to once/day, got a BFP.
