Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Maramarrie

Thank you for your post.  I was wondering how you did Stillborn annoucements?  I am not even sure I want to, but maybe.  My baby was stillborn at 31 weeks and I am trying to think of things to do to remember her, not that I ever will forget.  I like your scrapbook and the handprints you did.  We have a footprint of her but no handprint.  I wish when this happens there is a list of nice things they can do at the hospital.  Though we did get some nice things like a memory box and a handmade blanket and outfit they took pictures of her in.  I wish I thought to of changed her clothes.  But you are right I wish I could do lots of things with her.  I miss her so much.  Your baby angel is so cute.  You are lucky to have 18 hours,  I had about 11 or so.  I do wish I held her the whole time, but so much was going on.  Everyone says I held her a lot but again I wish... I will keep you in my prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby.  Debbie

  • I'm sorry I didn't see this until now. I made the announcements myself, but I have experience in graphic design; so it wasn't a foreign idea to me. I had them printed at Kinkos. They also have the ability to design things for you, if you take the files and information you want. They charge extra for that, but it might be better than using a pre-designed birth announcement that says something really upbeat or whatever.

This is the announcement I made:
