I'm grateful for DH's vacation...

But even more grateful that he went back to work this morning!

I loved our week of family time, but he threw mine and DS's routine off completely, and I think we were both ready for some calm!  I'm happily drinking a cup of coffee and checking email/bumping for a few minutes, and DS is drinking his milk and reading a book.  Ahh, life is back to normal!

haha I wish DH was home today! DS is sick, and I am super tired, so we are both just grumpy! I'd like DH to come home and deal with sick DS while I go nap

lol I know how that feels! DH usually works at night second shift so when he is home our bedtime routine never seems to get accomplished and DS always ends up in bed too late!!! Then hes a beast the next day! Hooray for your DH going back but mine is one day shift this week due to the holidays so Ive got one more week of daddy dilemas!!! lol

DH has this week home too and it gets so crazy. I do everything twice as fast so we can all have time together. I need a vacation from his vacation. lol

DH was only off last Friday.  He will work today and tomorrow and be off the rest of the week.  I am looking forward to some time together.  By next Sunday, I will definitely be ready for him to go back to work!
