I don't see my great aunt that often and she is, indeed, crazy, but she was very sweet Christmas Eve. She asked to hold Riley and I'm always game to let people try so I handed her over. As soon as Riley started crying the tiniest bit she handed her right back, even though I said she didn't have to and said "No, crying is her only way to communicate and if she wants Mom I'm going to listen". I wish more people were like that! I get tired of people refusing to give her back and telling me she has to get used to other people (*cough* MIL). I just thought that was sweet.
