sex at six weeks Q

I haven't scheduled my 6 week appt yet, but I am 6 weeks pp this Friday.  I stopped bleeding at like 2 weeks and have no stitches this time.  And I am actually, surprisingly in the mood!  Do you think I can have sex at six weeks even if I'm still waiting for an appointment?  Anyone have any experience w/ this issue?

I say just do it! I know tons of women here have done the deed before the 6 week appt, myself included. As long as you feel up to it, take it slow, lots of foreplay, and keep it light-hearted. Don't get discouraged if you find that it's not like it used to be, because more than likely it won't be. It might even be better!

My dr cleared me at 4 weeks and didnt even schedule a 6 week appt

I'm 6 weeks PP this Thursday and scared!! I just started letting DH play around a little and it's been very uncomfortable, I can't imagine having sex. He fully expects it and has been counting down the days so I'll feel really guilty if I turn it down.

We did it at 5 weeks PP and it was great. I would say do it if you feel healed enough to, but if you aren't sure then I would wait.

Me and my dh had sex at 3 weeks pp as soon as my dr cleared my c-section and I had stopped bleeding. It was wonderful. Just Take it slow you'll be fine.

We had sex at 3 weeks with no problems. Go slow and our motto is protection protection protection. We don't want another right away.

I got cleared at 4 weeks for normal activities and had sex at 5 weeks! I just want to say that sex is so different! I think it is so much better and my sex drive is high now and it wasn't before! I hope it stays this way and it did not hurt much our first time but we used lots of lube! Good Luck Girl!!!

We tried at 5 weeks and it wasn't too bad... but the times we have since then have been great... I would almost say better than before.. Just remember to use lots of lube, especially if you are breastfeeding!

While it is probably fine, I would wait for the doctor's OK.

Why haven't you scheduled your appointment yet? Can you maybe get a quick appointment today or tomorrow?
