creamy cm and higher temps with clomid?

So this is my first cycle on clomid.  I took it day 5-9, went for an ultrasound on day 13 and was told that I'm about to ovulate.  Judging by the ovulation pain, I did ovulate either that night or the next day.  Now I'm 7dpo and I have been having a lot of creamy cm (sorry tmi) since ovulation up to now.  Is this normal with clomid?  Anyone experience that?
Also, I haven't really been charting temps this cycle, trying to take a break and not stress out as much (promised DH) but I did take 3 or 4 temps after ovulation and usually in most my cycles I rarely go over 97.8 but the 3-4 temps I took were all over 98.  And before this cycle I've been charting for over a year, so I know my regular temps pretty good.  Is it also normal to have higher temps after ovulation on Clomid?  Anyone had this experience?
TIA

Re: creamy cm and higher temps with clomid?

  • Oh, and one more thing.  Usually bbs get sore right after ovulation, but this time nothing at all until today.  Today they're sore.  But for the last 6 days, not at all.  Could this also be caused by Clomid?  Sorry for asking so many questions.

  • The temps can't tell you anything without comparing them to the rest of the cycle. However, clomid is known to raise temps during the days you take it and they are suppose to level out to normal by the time ovulation occurs. Creamy cm may be normal for you...is it slick to the touch or is it just there? Peak type CM is clear, stretchy or very lubricative. If it is not one of those three, then it is concerned low fertile cm.

  • Yes I have horrible creamy CM-very thick and clumpy-so Gross!!

Same thing happened to me with my bbs. Usually the second after I feel O (no drugs) I start to get twinges in my bbs and they start to gradually get sore-this time around on clomid they didn't get sore at all till a day or 2 before AF was due-it still hasn't shown and I've been spotting since 8 dpo which occ. is red flow so I'm thinking my cycle is delayed for some reasons, all tests point to no, and I totally feel like AF will just start any day now.

Not sure about your temps ?
