Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Still drooling...ALOT.

It drives me nuts. DS has been wearing bibs (I'm talking all day long and soaking a bib an hour) since he was 3 months old. I thought by now, we would be able to put his cute clothes on and not have to hide them with a bib. I'm not so sure its all from teething. When I see him drool, its because his mouth is open a lot. Does he not have the control of keeping his mouth closed? Seems like a dumb question.

  • I've got a drooler also. I'm sure it's teething related. We had a nice lull after her molars came in. Now that she's getting her canines and one straggler of an incisor, we've had to take the bibs out again. I'm so ready for her to be done with it.

  • DD1 is 16 months and still drools a TON, too. It is a combo of teething and still putting everything in her mouth.

  • I know exactly how you feel and my LO is 20 months! She is the only one in her 1-2yr old daycare class who still wears a bib but she NEEDS it. She has really sensitive skin and gets a rash if she doesn't. It sucks.
