My heartfelt thanks to the bumpie who solved my sock problem

My FFFC a few weeks ago was that I can never find matching socks for me or my family, and we are all woefully mismatched half the time.

Some revolutionary thinker suggested throwing out all our socks, and buying socks in--picture this--ALL THE SAME COLOUR.

Today we went boxing day shopping and each got a pack fo 20 pairs of socks for $10. Thanks to you, my life will forever be a little bit better.

well- don't THROW away those socks- if in good condition- donate and if raggety- use them as dust rags when turned inside out!

Haha, I would never donate our old crusty socks lol. The dust rag tip is a good idea, though!

We were going to go to Old Navy this AM because they were giving away a free Flip video camera with a $25 purchase. Thankfully I called ahead because she said that they only had 48 to give away and the line was already much longer than that Our ON opened at 7, but people had been lining up outside since 4 apparently.

The other stuff we got good deals on were DVD box sets (we don't have cable so we buy a lot of these), and 50% off Christmas stuff for next year, including a little prelit Christmas tree for DS bedroom!  Smartphones were on sale at Wal-Mart, but they were all out of the one I wanted
