croupy sounding cough but no fever

Figures! LOs wake this am with a husky cough.  more DD than DS ... DS just sounds phlemy. 

neither has a fever.  its clear DD doesnt feel weel but over all is in a good mood.  Neither has had a bowl movement today and thier diapers havent been as wet as normal. 

does this warrent an emergency visit to one of those patient first places or think i can wait until monday as long as there is no fever and it doesnt worsen?

Also i plan on putting the humidifier on tonight and i use to lift thier mattress up a little but guess you cant do that now that the roll and move huh?  any other advice?

I would say if he isn't having trouble breathing or weezing I would wait until Monday as long as nothing gets worse. I use the baby vicks, humidifier and keep the dairy to a minimum. Good luck.

I would be sure to keep them hydrated.  If they continue to only have a few wet diapers I would take them to urgent care.  I would be worried about dehydration otherwise I would wait till Monday especially with no fever.  I hope they get to feeling better

thanks! They finally pooped! Thier diapers have been wet just not as full as normal.  especially considering i left them one of thier diapers longer than i normally would bc i was at a friends un baby proofed house and it was hard to change diapers and watch the other LOs.

ugh i reallllyy hope i dont have to take them to urgent care.  no fun around the holidays!

We went to the ER a few weeks ago and DS had croup. They recommend a cool mist humidifier and if the cough gets worse to dress him up warm and take him outside. The cool air typically opens up the airways. By the way DS didn't have a temp but had croup.
